The NYC mayor’s race is heating up — in Harlem. On Wednesday, the mayor opened a spanking-new campaign office at 102 West 124th Street, joined by former Gov. David Paterson and local community leaders.

The Harlem opening is more than just another stop — it’s part of a slate of campaign offices citywide as Adams looks to cement support in advance of the high-stakes November election.

With Harlem long considered one of New York’s most politically influential neighborhoods, Adams’ move is being read as a power play to energize his base and strengthen grassroots momentum.

As the race intensifies, the focus is turning to whether Harlem support can be what puts Adams over the top in what is already expected to be one of the closer elections in New York City history.
